Infinite Possibilities Days 3 & 4… and a Tarot Vision Board

Day Three of Mike Dooley’s 30 Day course or ‘start the year as you mean to go on’.

It’s not to late to join in. You don’t have to sign up; you don’t even have to enter your email address – it all there happening on the page.

Todays’ fun: go into more detail about the five things I set on day one. Juice it up. Say why and how I want those aspects to improve. They were:

Writing
Losing weight & getting fitter.
Build blog/s better
Improve family relationships
Art play

Writing: I want to get into the flow of writing every day. I want to write my articles and also embark on some fabulous, funny, emotional, exciting fiction. I want to be wowed by my writing, my own ideas. I want to be able to sell my work, receive brilliant, well-paid commissions. I love it when people come to me. It’s easy, thrilling and so rewarding.

Losing weight and getting fitter: this is going to be very easy to do. Focus less on food, more on my other delicious life aspects. I don’t need much food at my age. Food is merely fuel. There will be days when I will enjoy eating exactly what I want. Mostly though, I eat only what my body requires to maintain a lovely weight. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy. I will love my dog walks. I will be inspired to walk a little bit further, varying my speed, meditating on mature and just enjoying the sense of freedom and movement.

Building better blogs: I want to discover new things about blogging, be inspired to write ever-deeper articles on the subject of tarot. I want to use my blog to teach myself and anyone else who wants to share my ongoing journey.

Family relationships: I want our family to be a tight unit, even as the kids spread their wings and learn to fly by themselves. I want peace, co-operation and love in our family. Being with each other is a joy. Having fun, laughing, sticking together, supporting each other and admiring our gorgeous kids, is what it’s all about.

Art play: I love to make things, I want to always make things, whether it be painting, art journals Fountain Tarot King of Coinsor crafting. As long as I do something every day, more or less, I will be serene and happy.

Tarot card: King of Coins

Skillful, self-made man. Prefers tradition over new fads. Knows what he wants and how to make it happen. Has a knack for business. Enjoys life to the full, doesn’t worry about self-image or what people think. This is me, take it or leave it.

Infinite Possibilities Day Four

Using images to inspire and create visual reminders of your desired future. I love this! Tarot cards make the best vision boards because they have so much depth of meaning. I used to do this every New Year, a little vision board with photos, writing and tarot cards placed on top. They used to work like a dream – why did I stop?

Anyway, I wanted to use a nice bright deck for this so chose the Mary Hanson-Roberts Universal Waite.

Here are the cards I have chosen:

The four Aces – new beginnings and all that. I want inspiration (Wands), increasing love (Cups), clarity of thought (Swords) and abundance (Pentacles).

Three of Cups – friendship, fun and harmony.

Nine of Pentacles – independence, self-reliance, a comfortable life and a nice garden.

Ten of Cups – Emotional fulfillment, happy family, peace.

Queen of Pentacles – had to have this one as I am a QoP.

The Fool – I must be willing to take chances and trust that all will work out for the best.

The Magician – I have all the tools and skills I need to make it work.

The Empress – I am creative, abundant and generous.

The Chariot – I am in control of my life and the direction it takes.

The Hermit – my mission is to shine a light, tarotically speaking.

Temperance – balance and harmony throughout all aspects of my life.

The Star – love, hope and trust in the universe are all I need.

The Sun – to represent all the improvements and exciting stuff this year.

So there we are… well on the way. I shall keep my tarot vision board where I can see it throughout the rest of the month.
