Deviant Moon in Daylight

Hello and good day,

Though right now, I think the only visitors to m’blog, other than my old pal, Viv, are spambots. Hi! {{Waving at the spammers}}

Dragged out Deviant Moon today. Like everyone else who comes into contact with this deck, I find it fascinating, dark, mentally challenging and downright perplexing.

Deviant Moon Tarot sets imaginative characters and evocative tarot imagery against moonlit backdrops. The stunning surreal artwork illuminates the darker side of the psyche and reveals the depths of human consciousness.

Going to turn two cards to see how my weekend ahead will unfold.

Justice and the Ace of Pentacles

Ace of Pents Justice card

How very interesting. Might a certain cheque arrive earlier than expected? I shan’t describe these cards or I will be here all day. The dragon on the Ace does remind me of our own Welsh dragon emblem and Justice looks a lot like the RWS Four of Pentacles – wishing I could have three hands sometimes!

Justice is reminding me that extremes are not necessary, that I need to be fair when dealing with other members of my family. It might also be warning me to not rush ahead in trying to complete my self-allotted projects; that I should be balancing my time and energy resourcefully. It could also be hinting at some sort of contract or legal/official situation. Nothing like that going on here at the moment.

The Ace of Pentacles, is always the ‘gift card’ for me, it is the material expression of something I have hoped for, or feared for, if you know what I mean? If you are a follower (wrong word) of the Law of Attraction, then you will know how it is possible to put an item in your spiritual shopping basket by paying attention to it. As far as my weekend is concerned, I hope that it will be something to do with my garden 😀 And no, I don’t want to delve into the deep dark depths of my subconscious right now — it’s too early!

It will be interesting to revisit these two cards next week to see how well they reflected my question. Have a great weekend.
